Yellow Pigeon Peas Dal /Toor Dal

Ingredients:
  • 1 Cup Yellow Pigeon Peas/Toor Dal
  • 1tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 1 Garlic Flake chopped(optional)
  • 1 sprig of Curry Leaves(optional)
  • 2cups of water
  • Salt to taste
Method:
  • Wash thoroughly  Yellow Pigeon Peas/Toor Dal.
  • Pressure Cook it with all the above ingredients for 10minutes.
  • Remove and Set aside for 5minutes or until the pressure goes out. 
  • Add Salt to taste, mix well and Serve hot with Rice and Clarified Butter/Ghee.
